Rihanna is really opening up about her relationship – or as she calls it, friendship – with Chris Brown, saying that the world is “fascinated” by it and that they haven’t had “closure” yet.
Brown and Rihanna’s relationship made headlines in 2009 when Brown was convicted of beating his then-girlfriend, and since then, there have been rumors as to whether or not they have reconciled.
In recent weeks, however, they’ve been seen out together and Brown even recently broke up with his girlfriend Karrueche Tran, admitting he loves both she and Rihanna.
“Is there such thing as loving two people? I don’t know. I don't know if that’s possible, but for me, I feel like that. I don't want to hurt either-or. I'm not trying to be a player,” Brown wondered in an intimate video he shared with his fans.
But according to E! Online, Rihanna opened up to Vogue saying:
"To the world, I feel like there's no closure. There's some obsession that's continued even throughout when we weren't friends or couldn't be friends at all. Hated each other. The world hasn't let go. They haven't seen any progress in our friendship, because they don't see anything, really, besides the song.”
"So now it's a bit of a fascination, I guess. I don't know if people will stop soon, but I feel like as soon as they have closure to it, they will...But they're not on the inside. They can't see what I see, unless they're sitting in my point of view. I guess I'll learn to accept that."
