RZA reveals snippet of Kanye West’s verse on ‘Iron Fist’

All-star soundtrack includes Kanye West, Pusha T, Talib Kweli, The Black Keys and more

If you are not sold on the upcoming project The Man with the Iron Fists, directed by former Wu-Tang Clan rapper RZA and presented by Quentin Tarantino, perhaps the soundtrack will convince you.

The film has an impressive cast that includes Russell Crowe, Cung Le, Lucy Liu, Byron Mann, RZA, Rick Yune, former WWE wrestler David Batista and Jamie Chung. This matches the big-name artists on the soundtrack.

Billboard reported that The Black Keys, Kanye West, RZA, Wiz Khalifa and The Wu-Tang Clan, Pusha T, Corrine Bailey Rae, Talib Kweli and many more are featured on the film’s 15-song soundtrack.

At the BET Awards ceremony, MTV News caught up with RZA and he provided them with a bit of information on Kanye’s song on the soundtrack “White Dress.”

He raps the chorus of the song “I see you in the club in a white dress but I picture you in church in a white dress.” and then adds that instead of rapping your typical 16 bars Kanye overachieves with 40 bars.

The Man with the Iron Fists centers on RZA’s character who is a blacksmith in 19th century China that make weapons for a small village. As the village is threatened by a traitor he unites both warriors and assassins to protect their community.

The film is set to debut in theaters on November 2 and you can buy the soundtrack about a week before on October 23.
