On top of releasing her senior album, Red, the chart-topping singer that is Taylor Swift has joined the roster to perform on the American Music Awards.
CMT reports that the “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” singer will perform on the Awards show, which is set to take place November 18 in Los Angeles, CA.
Swift will join the likes of Christina Aguilera, Linkin Park and Nicki Minaj. CMT notes that more performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Only two days after releasing Red, the 22-year-old country-pop singer is already expected to exceed one million albums sold within the week.
According to The Associated Press fans will have the opportunity to vote online for their favorite artist.
Swift is nominated for favorite female artist, while Minaj leads the nominations with four bids alongside “S&M” singer Rihanna. Linkin Park is reportedly in the running for alternative artist.
The American Music Awards will air live on ABC.
