Taylor Swift stopped by to discuss her newest album on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. While Ellen is notorious for making people laugh; the talk show host gave the 22-year-old country starlet a feeling of guilt instead!
Huffington Post reports that Swift discussed her new album with the 54-year-old host who was dying to know who “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” is about. Swift has maintained her intentions to remain mum about who any of her songs are about, but the pressing host wouldn’t let her get off that easy.
First she suggested The Lorax co-star, Zac Efron; when Swift profusely denied that the two were ever an item, DeGeneres proceeded to show a slideshow of past beaus of the hit country crooner.
“I don't know if I can do this, this is the one thing I have! This is like the one shred of dignity that I have," Swift shoots, "I don't want to! I don't want to! Because they'll send me angry emails and I don't want to get them!"
Naturally, the host has to send some oddballs in, she throws in the likes of newlywed Justin Timberlake and Two and a Half Men star, Ashton Kutcher.
John Mayer, Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner also hit the screen before Swift again became uncomfortable saying, “Stop it, stop it, stop!"
"This makes me feel so bad about myself. Every time I come up here you put a different dude up on the screen. It just makes me really question what I stand for as a human being. There's never been two guys on the screen two visits in a row. It's sad!”
Swift’s previous CD, Speak Now, featured the song “Dear John” reportedly about her destructive relationship with John Mayer. The singing heartthrob spoke about the song saying it made him feel “terrible.”
Swift later denied it was about Mayer.
