It’s hard to believe that someone as gorgeous as supermodel/Television-mogul Tyra Banks used to get bullied for her looks when she was younger. America’s Next Top Model host sold a sitcom based on her life titled Fivehead to ABC.
The title of the sitcom might have a few people scratching their heads, but Tyra explains to Deadline that the title refers to her big forehead some thing she was teased about growing up.
Tyra said, “In high school, if you have glasses, you’re a ‘four eyes,’ if you have braces, you’re a ‘metal mouth’ but if you had my forehead? You’re a ‘Fivehead.”
She will be creating the show with her old friend Kenya Barris who will be the co-creator, executive producer and writer of the sitcom. Tyra will have input on the characters and storylines, but it seems that Barris is pretty qualified to write about the struggles Tyra faced in her adolescence because he has known her since she was six years old.
Huffington Post reports that the Barris also co-created America’s Next Top Model so the two are familiar with how to work together.
