ABC’s Nashville starring Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere has been picked up for another season.
The show recently started to show a spike in the ratings, garnering a 2.0 rating and 6 million viewers tuning in, TV Line reports.
Both the network’s The Neighbors and Scandal have already been picked up for full seasons.
Nashville has received an order for back nine episodes, with the show seeing a high premiere and then dipping after that, only to rise again.
Cinema Blend reports that the show started out with almost 9 million viewers, and by the fourth episode the viewers dropped to 5.74 million viewers. But recently it has jumed back up to 6.07 million, as of the newest episode.
Some of the country music from the show can be purchased on iTunes. Panettiere, who plays Juliette Barnes, also recently released a single of her own called “Telescope.”
In just two weeks, the song has become No . 43 on Billboard’s Country Songs chart.
