Aerosmith's Steven Tyler and fiance Erin Brady split?

It’s been rumored that Aerosmith front man and former American Idol judge Steven Tyler has split with his fiancé Erin Brady.

After proposing last year in Hawaii, Tyler, 64, and Brady, 38, have reportedly hit a rough patch in their relationship as Aerosmith prepares to set out on tour again.

“Steven has quietly ended it with his fiancée,” a source told New York Post’s Page Six.

Tyler is said to be more focused on his music career and sobriety than ever, which led to his break-up with Brady.

“Steven has been trying to maintain his lifestyle and to stay clean,” the source said. “The tour is really important to him and the band. So he decided to end it.”

While Tyler and his Aerosmith bandmate Joe Perry have had a tumultuous relationship lately, partly due to Tyler taking the Idol gig, the source said that Brady doesn’t help. “She’s been kind of a Yoko Ono character,” the insider said.

However, a rep for the band says “Just as any couple goes through trials and tribulations in a relationship, Steven and Erin are asking for their privacy at this time. They are engaged to be married and each is committed to their sobriety. Any claim to the contrary is absolutely false and misleading.”

E! News reports that Tyler and Brady have been dating since 2006.

Aerosmith will be releasing their first album in 11 years called Music From Another Dimension.
