Angus T. Jones apologizes for statements made about 'Two and a Half Men'

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Angus T. Jones is currently inserting foot-in-mouth as the Two and a Half Men actor has released a statement apologizing for his recent comments regarding the show.

“I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed,” Jones said in a statement as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.

"I never intended that."

Continuing, his statement reads, “Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked and over the past 10 years who have become an extension of my family.”

On Monday, Jones was seen in a video pleading for viewers to stop watching Two and a Half Men calling the show “filth” noting that it goes again his Christian values.

While CBS has not yet commented on Jones’ loaded statements from Monday, this is the first viewers have heard from anyone on the set.

Jones is scheduled to not appear on the upcoming episodes of Two and a Half Men, not due to his comments, but because his character, Jake, is off in the Army.
