More reports continue to surface around Angus T. Jones following his rant-gone-viral where he called Two and a Half Men, the show he has been on for nearly a decade, “filth” and the work of the devil. Now fans can’t help but wonder if following his loaded comments if Jones’ character Jake will live to see an eleventh season.
Jones will be seen for the remainder of the 10th season, a source tells Access Hollywood. However, it is uncertain if the 19-year-old actor will sign on to do season 11.
According to the report, at the moment, the decision is not based on the comments but on Jones’ longtime desire to go to college.
He reportedly took time off of school to fulfill his contract on Two and a Half Men.
As we previously reported, Jones will not be seen in the upcoming two episodes prior to the holiday season as his character is off in the military.
CBS has still not commented on Angus’ rant. However, Charlie Sheen who once held the starring role, threw his two cents in yesterday saying, “With Angus's Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed.”
Jones has since released an apology where he states, “I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed.”
