Bears wide reciever Brandon Marshall admits rahter than use of Adderall, Viagra has been used on the field

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

While performance enhancing drugs are strictly prohibited in the world of sports, reports are surfacing that a sexual enhancing drug could help a pro football player's performance on the field and it won't show up in drug tests.

According to the Associated Press, Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall has stated that he has heard of some pro NFL players using banned drug Adderall to improve their moves on the field.

Marshall explained that while he is unaware of the effects of Adderall, he has heard of the use of sexually enhancing drug Viagra.

“I know guys, it’s such competitive league and guys try anything just to get that edge,” Marshall explained. “I’ve heard of guys using Viagra, seriously, because the blood, it’s supposed to thin. I don’t know. Some crazy stuff. It’s kind of scary with some of these chemicals that are in some of these things, so you have to be careful.”

According to NFL spokesman Greg Aiello, Viagra is not banned from the NFL.

Despite Marshall’s claims, Bears defensive coordinator Mike Tice refutes the claims saying, “Viagra? I’ve never heard of such a thing. He’s making that up. He’s got to be making that up. You’ve got to be kidding me.”

The Bears will play the Seahawks Sunday at 1PM.
