Beyonce will be part of an HBO documentary that will show a very personal side of the 16-time Grammy winner.
The 31-year-old will release footage from her personal laptop for the film, which will show "raw, unprecedented access" inside her world.
"Everybody knows Beyoncé's music, but few know Beyoncé the person," said Michael Lombardo, president of programming at HBO, in a statement, People reports. "Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman."
In her own statement, Beyonce said "Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming. This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home.”
HBO announced that the documentary will air on Feb. 16, 2013, not long after Beyonce performs at halftime show of Super Bowl XLVII.
The Huffington Post reports that not only will we see Beyonce on stage, but we get to see her as a businesswoman navigating her company Parkwood Entertainment, and as a new mother to Blue Ivy with husband Jay-Z.
Beyonce will direct the film, which includes some of her own personal footage.
