Blake Shelton gushes about wife Miranda Lambert: 'She's kept us strong'

The Voice mentor Blake Shelton and his wife Miranda Lambert don’t get to see each other often, due to Shelton being in Los Angeles filming his hit NBC show and Lambert being home in Oklahoma and busy with her own career.

On Oct. 21, however, Shelton tweeted his excitement that he got to be reunited with his wife of a year and a half.

"Finally get to see my wife today!!!!!!!!! Happy happy joy joy!!!!" he wrote, to which Lambert answered "Shall we celebrate with a beverage, or 10?:)”

In People’s new issue, Shelton, 36, gushes about how he and his wife’s relationship is better than ever.

“What are the odds of two people being married and at the height of their careers at the same time and in the same field? And of making a relationship work with that spotlight on us?" he gushed. "It should seem more difficult, but somehow it's just not. We don't feel any different. We try to be as normal about our relationship as we possibly can be."

He also gushed of Lambert, 29, that she’s the one that keeps them “strong.”

"I'm telling you, she's kept us strong," he said. "Especially in the early days when it was easy to give up and say, 'This is too hard.' She's the one that always found a way."

Meanwhile, Access Hollywood reports that Lambert is the new face of the “got milk?” campaign. Her ad was debuted on Wednesday at the Country Music Association headquarters.
