One of the cast-members from TLC’s breakout hit Breaking Amish, aspiring model Kate Stoltzfus, is said to want her own spin-off show.
Stoltzfus reportedly “hates” her fellow cast-mates, Abe Schmucker, Rebecca Byler, Sabrina High and Jeremiah Raber, and wants to distance herself from them.
“Kate hates her cast mates from Breaking Amish," a source tells Us Weekly. "She has no camaraderie with them, she can't really relate anymore. She has big dreams and they aren't in line with everyone else."
Stoltzfus is currently waiting tables in Florida while she sorts out legal obligations for a DUI arrest. But once she finishes up alcohol classes, she will move back to New York City and resume her modeling career.
"Her team has their fingers crossed on the spin-off," said the source, who says they’re hoping to show "visits to a plastic surgeon, more photo shoots, meeting with designers, a make-over, the whole shebang!"
The Hollywood Reporter writes that TLC has a hit on their hands with Breaking Amish, seeing as much success as Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.
Every episode since its premiere has gotten over 3 million viewers. The show portrays five Amish men and women who leave their families and start over in New York City.
