Celebrities take to Twitter as election results roll in

Tuesday was Election Day and Americans were on the edge of their seats eagerly waiting who would be the President of the United States of America. Celebs were taking to Twitter to express their views as the results start rolling in.

According to E! News, reports that celebrities from Hugh Hefter to Haylie Duff are staying close to Twitter to voice their opinions on the two-close-to-tell election.

The Playboy creator wrote, “I'm watching the election results as they come in on TV and it's just too close to predict how it's going to turn out. It's scary.”

Ian Somerhalder is urging on swing states Ohio and Florida writing, “Pennsylvania I want to hug you!!! Come on Florida, come on Ohio come on Virginia! Lets do this!!!!! Wooohooooo!”

“Romney dominating in square footage!”writes Saturday Night Live’s own Seth Meyers.

Piers Morgan took to joking on Twitter with his predictions tweeting, “On current CNN projections....House will stay Republican, Senate will stay Democrat. Whoever's President will have a tough old time again.”

President Obama won re-election, getting 303 electoral votes.
