Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan reportedly struck up a friendship on the set of Scary Movie 5 in September, and now Sheen has given Lohan a $100,000 check, according to a report.
TMZ reports that the Liz and Dick star needed the money for a tax bill she hadn’t paid, and Sheen stepped right up to help her.
While the two once troubled stars spend time together off-screen during filming Scary Movie, they reportedly talked about everything. A subject that came up at one point was Lohan’s tax issues. Sheen offered to give her a check back then, but she wouldn’t take it.
Just last week, sources tell TMZ that Lohan’s business manager received a $100,000 check from the former Two and a Half Men star.
As we previously reported, Lohan owed the IRS $93,000 in unpaid taxes for 2009, but it turns out that when combining 2009 and 2010, she actually owed $233,904.
She is set to earn $2 million this year for her roles in Liz and Dick, The Canyons, Scary Movie 5 and other work.
