Chris Brown is embarking upon a new chapter in his career.
The singer is now signed to modeling agency Wilhelmina International in its artist management division. Brown will do fashion and beauty endorsements as well as licensing products.
Taylor Hendrich, director of Wilhelmina Men, told Women’s Wear Daily, “Chris Brown is a…multifaceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand.”
For his part, Brown relayed his excitement by saying “Art and style has always played a significant role in my life — it’s evolved with me throughout my career.”
E! Online reports that other celebrities that are signed to the agency are Natasha Bedingfield, Fergie and Keri Hilson.
Brown, 23, has remained a controversial figure since his 2009 arrest for hitting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. They been rumored to have reconciled recently, rumors that they both deny despite getting photographed with each other constantly. They have also collaborated on a couple songs together, their latest being “Nobodies Business” on Rihanna’s new album Unapologetic.
