Actor Chris Tucker talked about the possibility of Rush Hour 4 in a new interview.
Tucker told E! Online he believes the fourth Rush Hour movie will happen, saying, "I hope it happens. We need to do one more."
"I just want us to be free and do our thing," Tucker told E! Online. "I love working with Jackie, being around Jackie. Stuff just happens when we're together."
It is possible that co-star Jackie Chan will return for the fourth movie even though in May he told Empire he did not see himself doing the movie right away but perhaps in “another five or ten years.”
In July, producer Arthur Sarkissian said he was working with Tucker and Chan on the fourth installment of the franchise, according to Digital Spy. He hopes to make the movie “more down to earth,” like the original Rush Hour movie.
Chan also announced his retirement from action movies last week according to NY Daily News. He will still act, but knows he is getting older and worries about injuries.
"I will still do as much as I can,” Chan said. “But I just don't want to risk my life to sit in a wheelchair, that's all."
Tucker can be seen in Silver Linings Playbook in theaters now.
