CNN anchor Don Lemon has ignited a feud with Moneyball actor Jonah Hill, and the two have exchanged words via Twitter.
First, Lemon tweeted, "Said hi to Jonah in a hotel. Think he thought I was a bellman. Didn't know his name til the bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind."
He added later that Hill “was a tool.”
Hill took notice to these tweets and wrote back, "I said hi. What do you want me to do, move in with you? I was in a hurry." The actor explained, "Didn't realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace,” Us Weekly reports.
Lemon, 46, continued the exchange, writing "Hardly. You're not my type. But I know rude. And you were."
Hill took it upon himself to explain the version of events that he remembered, saying "I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me. Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude."
"The bellman and I laughed at how self-important you were. Just being honest. Be nice. Stardom is fleeting,” Lemon wrote.
Hill has removed the tweets and Lemon said he’ll talk about it more in depth on Starting Point with Soledad O'Brien.
