‘Dexter’ star Yvonne Strahovski discusses dating 'don’ts' (Video)

Chuck fans are very familiar with the blonde Australian bombshell named Yvonne Strahovski. For fans she’s been a joy to watch on the show and a welcome fantasy in their minds. Although several men would jump at the chance to go on a date with the 30-year-old, Strahovski explains in a recent interview that she has a certain criteria for her ideal guy.

Strahovski recently described her ideal guy to Complex as the total package. She says, “He has to be smart, honest, understanding with a good conscience, funny, and…athletic. [Laughs.]”

She remained loyal to the stars and stripes when asked, “Do you prefer Australian guys or American guys?” She said, “There are good ones and bad ones in both countries. For now, I’ll be patriotic to the country I’m currently living in and say American.”

The interview also included a video of Strahovski running through some potential deal breakers. So if you ever want a shot at her (or any girl really) you should never: forget anniversaries, run away when your significant other’s parents come into town, purchase bad fashion attire and leave your woman alone at night while partying with your friends. In the interview, Strahovski also discussed her favorite outfit on Chuck as being the belly dancing outfit, before talking about her upcoming film, The Guilt Trip, starring Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand. The film hits theaters on December 19.

Currently, she is playing a mysterious love interest to a serial killer on the hit television series Dexter. However, there is uncertainty over how long her character will last on the show.

The Hollywood Reporter asked Strahovski whether she would be game to return for the next season of the show and she simply replied, “I've loved every moment of it, and it's definitely one of my favorite experiences ever. We'll see if Hannah survives the season!”
