Donald Trump did not like the results of Tuesday’s presidential election and he made sure everyone knew it. The Celebrity Apprentice host went on a tirade on Twitter, calling the election a “sham” and said that Obama’s win was a “great and disgusting injustice.”
During the day, Trump reminded his followers, “Whoever wins today, remember that tomorrow we still have a country struggling. Our work is not done until America is strong again.” The second the results began coming in though, Trump went on the attack.
“Well, back to the drawing board!” he began. Next, he wrote, “We can't let this happen. We should march on Washington and stop this travesty. Our nation is totally divided!” and declared that the world is “laughing at us.”
“This election is a total sham and a travesty. We are not a democracy!” was his next tweet. He then wrote that the country will face troubles it has never seen before and called the electoral college a “disaster for a democracy.”
Trump concluded his rant by hoping that the House of Representatives, which will keep its Republican majority, will “hold our country together” and suggested that they not work with Obama unless he “terminates Obamacare.”
Trump has been vocal about his opposition of the president throughout this campaign. According to The Hollywood Reporter, he recently offered to donate $5 million to charity if Obama released his college records and other applications.
Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us.
