Kristen Stewart and Jennifer Lawrence might head up two separate, extremely popular franchises, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want to have a friendship.
Twilight Saga lead Stewart dished on The Hunger Games’ Lawrence being “so cool,” and reveals a bonding moment they had with Harry Potter female lead Emma Watson.
"I was a lot younger than her when I first sort of entered this world of franchise land, and I don't know, I guess we sort of both went, 'Wow, this is so weird.' We were actually sat in a corner with Emma Watson as well, the three of us. We were like, 'Wow, this is strange. This is really cool,'" Stewart, 22, told MTV News about Lawrence and Watson.
Stewart, who’s ending her vampire franchise with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, went on to say "I think people assume that actresses don't want to [be friends]. It was kind of a great feeling, to be honest. I was like, 'This is kind of just awesome.'"
Meanwhile, Watson is done with her Harry Potter days, but Lawrence is just starting out as Katniss Everdeen.
Stewart also told the Los Angeles Times about the pressures involved with leading a franchise, saying "I never let the imposing, ever-present cloud of pressure affect me," adding, "To me, it was all pressure from the inside. Not the outside. That could have been crippling. You would wind up playing a really disjointed character if you were trying to satisfy a hundred thousand girls."
