Dan Humphrey is at it again as another article of his is out and running and the person of interest this week is no one other than the lovely Miss Blair Waldorf. Nothing like a ‘Humphrey’ scorn if you ask me. Following the sex tape that was released, Dan and Serena have been hanging out with one another again and from the looks of it, old feelings are coming back.
I find it so hard to believe that Dan’s heart can move on so quickly. He was still madly in love with Blair an episode ago, but it looks like the writers are thinking of putting him back together with Serena. On the other hand, Rufus and Ivy are holding an art gallery opening, but the situation turns awry when Lily also plans to have a gathering of her own. The three come face to face and a major art auction causes a stir as Chuck is caught in their bidding war (since the painting in question has evidence of Bart’s illegal activities hidden behind it. Rufus wins the bid, but it’s clearly Ivy that wins in the end (she double crosses Chuck by keeping the evidence herself).
Ivy makes a mysterious phone call at the conclusion of the episode and I’m betting that it’s Charlie Rhodes on the other line. Not much happens for Nate this week after his breakup with Sage, but he’s not too happy with what’s occurring between Dan and Serena. We’ll have to see what will happen with the relationships in this show. Any thoughts on the pairings for the final episode? There are only 4 episodes left till the end!
Gossip Girl airs Mondays at 9pm on the CW.
