A week after the violent fight between Halle Berry’s fiance Olivier Martinez and her ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, the Oscar-winning actress and Aubry have reached a truce.
In a statement to The New York Daily News, Berry’s attorney, Blair Berk, said, “The parties have reached an amicable agreement. There will be no further statements regarding this matter.”
Aubry and Martinez came to blows on Thanksgiving, when Aubry came to Berry’s house to drop of Nahla, his 4-year-old daughter with Berry. A temporary restraining order was granted to Berry, keeping Aubry 100 yards away from Martinez, Berry and Nahla.
Aubry had said that Martinez threatened to kill him during the fight, but police later found that he was responsible for starting it. However, police are reportedly not going to file criminal charges against him.
It was also reported that Berry is trying to sell the Hollywood Hills home where the fight took place for $15 million.
The fight came after Berry and Aubry’s bitter custody battle over Nahla. Berry unsuccessfully tried to move to Paris with Nahla permanently. According to USA Today, the custody battle will continue in court Thursday.
