Jake Owen welcomes daughter Olive Pearl, shares picture via Twitter

Jake Owen has a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving as he and his wife Lacey welcomed their first child.

According to People, Lacey and Jake welcomed Olive Pearl Owen on Thursday, November 22 in Nashville, Tenn, weighing in at 6 lbs 3oz. 19 ½ inches.

The couple announced to People, “Lacey and I are so excited to start our own family. We are looking forward to teaching Pearl everything we learned from our parents and also learning from her.”

Additionally, while most fans have to wait to see celeb babies after much anticipation, Owen shared a picture of himself holding Olive Pearl beaming on Twitter. Along with the photo, “Today is the greatest day of my life. Welcome Olive Pearl Owen. 6lbs 3 oz Turkey Baby!!! Happy Thanksgiving.”

The couple married in May during a beautiful beach setting. The couple exchanged rings, Lacey’s was designed by Jake. At the time, Jake commented on becoming a new husband saying, “I’m looking forward to being a husband, someone his wife relies and leans on.”
