Joe Simpson insists he is not gay

Joe Simpson, father to singer/actress Jessica Simpson, has come forward to proclaim that despite claims, he is not gay.

Male model Bryce Chandler Hill, 21, came forward weeks ago to state that he and the high-profile father were dating. Reports state that Hill is using Simpson to further his career and that their relationship reveal is what caused Jessica’s mother, Tina, to file for divorce.

However, TMZ reports that Joe is going around to all of his friends and colleagues to say that the reports are not only false but “ridiculous.”

Sources close to the situation reportedly came forward to state that Joe and Hill became very close after meeting; Hill is a friend of Jessica and her sister Ashlee. "When he met Joe, he knew what a good job he had done in managing Jessica and Ashlee’s careers and wanted a piece of the pie himself….But the sad thing is, he mocks and laughs at Joe behind his back. He doesn’t care for him in the same way Joe does about him,” the source explained.

According to TMZ, some of Joe's friends believe him, while others think he is just not quite ready to come out publicly.
