Rocker Jon Bon Jovi and his 19-year-old daughter, Stephanie Bongiovi, were spotted together for the first time since her alleged drug overdose and arrest earlier this month.
Earlier this month, Stephanie and another student were arrested after police were called to a dorm room at Hamilton College in upstate New York. Stephanie had allegedly overdosed on heroin and the charges were later dropped because of a Good Samaritan Law.
According to E! News, Bon Jovi and his daughter were spotted in the Hamptons, where they celebrated Thanksgiving with the rest of the family. The two were bundled up, prepared for the winter temperatures on Sunday.
The appearance comes after Bon Jovi finally opened up about Stephanie’s arrest to My Fox LA. “What I do for a living seems glitzy and glamorous but if you don't take it too seriously it's a great way to make a living,” the Bon Jovi frontman said. “And then life goes on. Things happen.”
He added, “This tragedy was something that I had to face too so we'll get through it. And people's warm wishes for my family and I have been really reassuring. So, we're good.”
Bon Jovi announced last week that his band will be touring next year, to promote their new album. The Because We Can Tour will feature low prices, with tickets selling between $19.50 and $185. The tour kicks off in Connecticut on Feb. 9 and wraps up at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on July 25.
