Jon Bon Jovi’s daughter, Stephanie Rose Bongiovi, was arrested early Tuesday at her dorm after an alleged heroin drug overdose was called in to officials.
According to TMZ, the Town of Kirkland Police Department state they were called to a dorm at Hamilton college belonging to Stephanie where, reports stated that she had overdosed on heroin and was “unresponsive.”
However, when police and medics arrived, they found that Stephanie was completely fine.She was however transported to a local hospital and is expected to be released Wednesday, People reports. Officials searched the room and came up with a “small quantity” of heroin and marijuana. She was arrested immediately.
Ian S. Grant, a 21-year-old male, was also arrested for possession.
Thus far, 19-year-old Stephanie is being charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana as well as criminally using drug paraphernalia, which, according to the report, are all misdemeanors.
Hamilton College released a statement to WKTV which reads, “In addition to violating state law, the actions alleged to have been committed by the students violate Hamilton College policy. The college is cooperating with the police investigation. Our first concern is always for the safety of our students. Out of respect for the privacy of our students and in accordance with federal regulations we do not discuss individual health or disciplinary matters."
