If Justin Bieber’s song choices are any indication of how he feels, then he might have confirmed his Selena Gomez break-up in song.
The “As Long As You Love Me” singer performed in Boston on Saturday night, the same day that rumors began about Bieber, 18, splitting with his girlfriend of almost 2 years, Gomez, 20.
At the show, he performed his own rendition of Justin Timberlake’s “Cry Me a River,” The New York Daily News reports, which was famously rumored to be about Timberlake’s ex Britney Spears -- he even casted a Spears look-alike in the music video.
Bieber’s version of the song was low-key, as he played his guitar and sang it acoustically.
Us Weekly reports that when talking to Open House Party radio host John Garabedian, Bieber didn’t deny or confirm reports of a split.
He only said "I don't know what's going on in my life . . . To even assess that it doesn't make sense 'cause I have not made any comment."
Bieber and Gomez are now both in New York City, where Bieber has a show at the Barclays Center tonight and Gomez will be honored at a Glamour event.
He was seen leaving her hotel room last night around 11pm.
