British A-listers Kate Middleton and Prince William attended a rugby game on Saturday at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, where they cheered on Wales as they battled it out against New Zealand.
E! News reports that the Duke and Duchess also met with former players of the team during a pregame reception, held in honor of the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust.
William is a sponsor of the Trust, which aims to aide and support injured ex-players and their families.
According to Us Weekly, William and his lovely bride wore color coordinated red outfits in support of the team, who lost to New Zealand 33 to 10.
But despite the sour outcome of the game, the royal couple smiled and maintained a rather cheerful appearance, chatting with fans and mingling with players of the team.
This wasn’t the first time that Will and Kate cheered on local sports teams, either. The couple attended the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, where they jumped for joy when Great Britain snagged a gold medal in track cycling.
