Keira Knightley admits to looking up how to plan a wedding on the internet, calls it 'quite terrifying'

By Gina DiFalco,

Anna Karenina star Keira Knightley appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which is set to air on Thursday, and while there, she chatted with the daytime talk show host about her upcoming wedding to fiancé James Righton.

DeGeneres threw Knightley, 27, a "bridal tea party" and they talked about the process of planning a wedding.

"The problem is, ever since [the engagement] happened, everyone keeps going . . . 'So when is it going to happen, and what's the dress like?'" she said, Us Weekly reports. "I'm just not one of those girls that's had the kind of fantasy wedding thing, so we haven't planned anything and it's all quite terrifying."

It’s so terrifying to her, in fact, that she said she looked on the internet to see what she should do to plan a wedding.

"I really don't have a clue, I don't get what the big deal is," she told DeGeneres. "You say I do . . . You drink a bit . . . On the Internet they keep talking about . . . There are things like bridal tea parties. I mean, what is a bridal tea party? I've never had a tea party in my life."

She also called it “quite confusing,” E! Online reports.

As we previously reported, Knightley’s engagement became public in May.
