Kelly Clarkson 'not engaged' but ready with Brandon Blackstock (Video)

Kelly Clarkson may not have a ring on her finger just yet, but she sees the relationship with her boyfriend, Brandon Blackstock, going in the right direction.

On Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show host DeGeneres mentioned, “Everyone is engaged,” referring to earlier guest Jesse Tyler Ferguson, noting that the “Stronger” singer and her beau of 9-months were also planning their nuptials. Clarkson was quick to clarify that she is not engaged, but did mention, "We are totally going to get married…We love each other. We are totally going to get married one day,” reports People.

Then, showing off her empty ring finger she quips, "I mean, he's got to put a ring on at some point." She added, “But I'll wait it out."

Although fans are rooting for the American Idol alum to walk down the aisle, don’t expect to see anything extravagant, “We will totally, probably elope.” She notes, “Honestly I've never been the girl to plan a wedding."

Blackstock, 35, is the nephew of hit country singer, Reba McEntire. Blackstock is a Nashville talent manager.
