Khloe Kardashian boosts 'X Factor' ratings 30 percent

Khloe Kardashian's first co-host job for the X Factor had a significant impact on the ratings for the show. Last night's episode saw a 30 percent increase in ratings, but that is not what has people talking.

According to Reuters, Kardashian donned a purple blouse on Wednesday's first live episode of X Factor, however she neglected to wear a bra.

"I think the air conditioning is on high tonight. It's very distracting," judge Simon Cowell said.

Kardashian's screen time was constantly causing distractions because her nipples were protruding under the blouse. That said, the show still had a large increase in viewership.

Over seven million viewers watched Fox's singing competition, marking a 30 percent from last week's 5.7 million viewers. Additionally, the show was up 13 percent in the 18-49 age group.

"I think I had a little nip action earlier LOL "@WeLoveKhloeKO: i dont get the air conditioning joke..." Kardashian tweeted.

While her performance itself has drawn both praise and criticism, the show's ratings seem to benefit from the addition of Kardashian. Be sure to catch the X Factor Thursday at 8 p.m. eastern.
