Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' lawyers back in court, still fighting over fraud claims

By Gina DiFalco,

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries’ lawyers were back in court this week, fighting it out to put an official end to their marriage. The only problem is that Humphries still wants an annulment and they can’t agree to terms.

It’s been over a year since Kardashian filed for divorce from Humphries, and her lawyer, Laura Wasser, told judge Stephen Moloney "Miss Kardashian is now handcuffed to Mr. Humphries.”

But her estranged husband’s lawyer, Marshall Waller, said the only way this will all be over is if Kardashian agrees to an annulment.

“This is a fraud case," Waller told Judge Moloney, E! Online reports. "This is a matter that needs to be flushed out."

Humphries and his legal team are trying to prove that Kardashian married him on the basis of fraud, just to get ratings for her E! reality show and had no intention of staying married to him. She filed for divorce just 72 days after they married in a lavish ceremony in Montecito, California.

Wasser continued that they think "there is a fishing expedition going on. I think there is some kind of strategy."

USA Today reports that both sides will be back in court in Feb. to set a date over whether or not to annul the marriage.

Kris Jenner and her boyfriend Kanye West have both been deposed in the case.
