Reality star Kim Kardashian has arrived in Kuwait, the first stop on her educational tour of the Middle East following her controversial tweets about the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
As we reported last week, the trip was actually pre-planned as a promotional tour of new Millions of Milkshakes shops that are opening in Kuwait and Bahrain, but the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star decided to learn about the region while there.
On her blog early this morning, she shared a photo of herself arriving in Kuwait with the headline “Just touched down in Kuwait!”
Just minutes ago, she shared a photo with the US ambassador to Kuwait, Matthew Tueller. She was also excited to see her Kardashian Kollection being launched at Dorothy Perkins.
So excited we are launching Kardashian Kollection at Dorothy Perkins in Kuwait!!!!

Kardashian’s trip comes after her controversial tweets about the conflict in Israel and the Gaza Strip. She deleted the tweets after receiving death threats and harsh criticism and later apologized.
“I want to own up to and explain that earlier today I sent out two tweets about saying prayers for the people in Palestine and Israel and after hearing from my followers, I decided to take down the tweets because I realized that some people were offended and hurt by what I said, and for that I apologize,” she wrote on her blog.
