On Thursday night’s Jimmy Kimmel Live, actress Kirstie Alley discussed her affairs with John Travolta and Patrick Swayze – yet again. But this time, the Dancing with the Stars contestant wanted to confirm that the affairs didn’t involve any sexual activity.
E! News reports that the 61-year-old star, who recently published a tell-all book, The Art of Men, admitted to falling in love with the iconic actors – at different times – while filming movies with each of them, even going as far as to call Travolta the “greatest love of my life.”
When late night funnyman Kimmel addressed the romantic claims, Alley said, “Can I just clarify, they were not sexual affairs. I think John Travolta is and has remained one of my best friends for almost 25 years, 26 years…before he was married and I was married. But I fell in love with him.”
According to the Huffington Post, Alley defended Travolta during an interview with Barbara Walters earlier this week, assuring skeptics that the former Grease heartthrob was not gay.
“I know John,” Alley said. “With all my heart and soul, he’s not gay. I think it’s some weird way, in Hollywood, if someone gets big enough and famous enough, and they’re not out doing drugs and they’re not womanizing, what do you say about them?”
