With only hours left till the debut of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2, fans are eagerly awaiting the conclusion to the high-profile vampire films based on the novels by Stephenie Meyer, much of the focus hasn’t been on how the film will wrap, but on the sex scenes that took place between Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella, played by Kristen Stewart.
Pattinson recalled the sex scenes while promoting the final film in Australia, saying that the sex scenes were “pretty ridiculous.”
He explained, “It also can't just be a normal sex scene. It's supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you've ever had. So a lot of it was just closeups on me and Kristen's faces, but there was no one else there."
Stewart took her turn describing the sex scenes during an interview on Conan, Entertainment Weekly reports. The normally quiet actress appeared uncomfortable describing the sex scenes and how difficult it was to be serious about the scene with a camera in her face reflecting back the “schmexy” faces she was trying to make. She quipped that the close-up shooting made her want to “shoot” herself.
