Kristen Stewart talks past 'Twlight' films, calls 'New Moon' her favorite

By Sarah Burbank-Douglas,

Kristen Stewart is opening up about her experience on the set of Twilight for the past eight years, calling New Moon her “favorite” and noting that she simply didn’t “love” Eclipse.

According to LA Times, the 23-year-old starlet opened up about her past performances translating Stephenie Meyer’s hit novels into the big screen.

She recalls, “What I remember the most about the first one is sitting with Rob [Pattinson] in a room tearing our hair out over the script. We were getting notes from the studio incessantly. Every day. I now love everybody but then I was like ‘Don’t you dare say anything to me.’ It was such a fight. And it’s so much fun to fight. That’s my thing. It’s great."

Getting comfortable as Bella in the sequel to Twilight, she refers to New Moon as her “favorite,” adding, “I think the depths that are described in that and going from the forest to the bedroom to Italy. Oh my God, that’s why you live.”

She does critique herself though, saying if she could do the second film over again she would, saying “I would just be better.”

On the other hand, she wasn’t as impressed with her performance in New Moon simply because they were “pumping them out.” She explains, “The movies were really close together. It felt a little mechanical. That is the most painful, when you know it.”

Last year’s Breaking Dawn-Part 1, however, was “the most exciting” for her.

Fans are eagerly awaiting Thursday at midnight’s debut of the final film in the franchise, Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn-Part 2. But Bella herself has already seen the finished piece. Stewart’s words for the finale? “It’s so crazy!” she explains as reported by Starpulse.

Additionally, it made Stewart incredibly emotional, she adds, “Not to make it sound not sappy but this thing is romantic.”
