Lindsay Lohan is not having a good day. She was arrested for allegedly fighting a woman at a New York nightclub and now it is being reported that she could face even more criminal charges for her June car crash in California.
As we previously reported, Lohan was arrested after getting into an altercation with a woman at the club Avenue in Manhattan. TMZ had reported that Lohan had left the club, but was stopped by police and arrested.
The New York Daily News reports that the woman Lohan is accused of fighting with is 28-year-old Tiffany Eve Mitchell, who was also questioned by police but later released.
The Daily News’ sources say that Lohan hit Mitchell in the face after they exchanged words in the club’s VIP section.
A police source told the paper that Lohan could face a misdemeanor assault charge. She will be due in court on Jan. 11.
As she left the police precinct, Lohan tried to hide her face by holding a jacket over her head.
Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that the Santa Monica City Attorney decided to file three more charges against Lohan in connection to her June car crash. She’s already being charged with lying to cops. The new charges include reckless driving and obstructing or resisting a police officer.
Lohan is still on probation from her jewelry heist, which required her to follow all laws.
