Lindsay Lohan will be charged with misdemeanor for lying to cops

Lindsay Lohan has not outrun her legal dramas as reports have surfaced that the Liz & Dick actress may have lied to cops over her summer accident when her vehicle collided with a big-rig truck.

New York Daily News reports that Lohan will be charged with a misdemeanor as soon as next week.

According to TMZ, the actress will be charged with lying to police in her June car accident where she told police that she was not behind the wheel when the accidentoccurred on Pacific Coast Highway.

LiLo was taken to the hospital after the accident and released shortly thereafter.

The driver of the truck, James, insisted after the accident that Lohan was lying saying that her entourage tried to pay him off in order to not bring police to scene.

TMZ notes that Lohan is still on probation for jewelry theft case. Judge Stephanie Saunter pressed into the young actress that she could not get into any more trouble without facing serious repercussions.
