Lindsay Lohan’s legal troubles have resurfaced.
The Liz and Dick star will have her probation revoked for lying to a police officer following a June incident in which she crashed her Porsche into an 18-wheeler on Pacific Coast Highway in California.
According to TMZ, sources say that the criminal case will go from the Santa Monica City Attorney to L.A. County Superior Court Judge Jane Godfrey, and Lohan will then be arraigned for violating the terms of her probation.
The trouble started when Lohan’s assistant had to go to the emergency room after the accident this past summer, and the assistant said Lohan was driving. However, the actress told police officers that it was her assistant who was driving.
EarSucker reports that Lohan is still on probation for her jewelry theft case.
TMZ’s sources say that the criminal case will be filed soon and that the case will go to hearing, where it will be determined if Lohan goes back to jail or not.
The newest set of legal troubles come after Lohan was trying her hand at a career comeback and to stay out of trouble. She has two movies coming out; Lifetime’s Liz and Dick and indie movie The Canyons.
