Mia Farrow’s younger brother, John Charles Villiers-Farrow, was arrested in Maryland Wednesday on 14 charges of sexual abuse against children.
According to E! News, Villiers-Farrow, 66, allegedly abused two children between 2000 and 2008. Authorities said that the two gave “detailed accounts” about the abuse.
Villiers-Farrow will be charged with second- and third-degree sex offence, child abuse, perverted practice, sex abuse of a minor, and second degree assault. He is still being held in prison.
The Capital Gazette is reporting that the alleged instances of abuse took place during a sleepover at Villiers-Farrow’s Edgewater home.
Villiers-Farrow was a child actor and made headlines when he famously told People magazine that Woody Allen’s career would be over after his sister accused Allen of molesting their daughter, Dylan, who was seven at the time. The case was dropped.
At the time, Villiers-Farrow predicted that Allen “is going to be indicted, and he’s going to be ruined. I think when all of it comes out, he’s going to jail” at the time, reports http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2012/11/16/another-mia-farrow-family-member-embroiled-in-child-sex-abuse-scandal/>Fox News.
Allen and Farrow had split in 1992, after she discovered that he was having a sexual relationship with her adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, who Allen is now married to.
Farrow has not commented on her brother’s arrest.
