Michelle Williams and Jason Segal evacuated from home, apartment flooded from Hurricane Sandy

Actors Jason Segal and Michelle Williams's Brooklyn apartment felt the damages brought on by Monday’s Hurricane Sandy as their apartment is reportedly flooded.

According to Daily Mail, the How I Met Your Mother actor and Shutter Island actress’ home sits on a waterfront and was in turn devastated by the water that was brought up from the storm.
Photos published of the building along with the stores around it reveal the devastating damage that was brought when Sandy hit land. Also the electricity had been shut off in the building and the neighborhood was evacuated as many other areas had as well.

According to Time, most of the water has since receded, but the products from the local stores have spoiled and the money to repair the damage to the neighborhood will exceeded $100,000.

Time reports that everyone is doing the best they can to help one another out, but those who lived in the area of Red Brook can still not return to their homes.

Us Weekly reports that Williams and Segal are currently staying in a Brownstone she was sharing with the late Heath Ledger.
