Four-time Olympian, Missy Franklin has confirmed she is going to swim for her high school, Regis Jesuit High School.
According to The Denver Post, Raider athletic director John Koslosky says she will not be there on Wednesday, but she will have an abbreviated schedule.
She is doing this because she wants to, since her team would love her to be there for them. Franklin will not be appearing as a Raider until after the holidays.
Franklin’s fame skyrocketed after she won her four medals as an Olympian and there were so many cameras at last year’s meet. This is why she was hesitant to saying yes to swimming, but she will be there, Koslosky said.
Franklin told Swimming World Magazine, “I’m so excited to be swimming some high school meets with my sisters at Regis Jesuit."
Franklin shows her support on Twitter.
So proud of my Regis girls for their incredible meet last night. You guys are incredible! I'm so proud of you!!

Franklin will not be competing in every meet, but she will be chasing her own record in the February state meets. SWM reports the state meet will be held Feb. 8 & 9 at the Edora Pool Ice Center.
