NBC Universal is preparing a live telethon to air tomorrow night to raise money for the damage done by Hurricane Sandy.
Deadline reports that the event will air on NBC, Bravo, CNBC, E!, G4, MSNBC, Style, Syfy and USA while simultaneously being available on NBC.com through live streaming.
ComingSoon.net says that Matt Lauer will host the telethon that will be broadcast live from 30 Rockefeller Plaza.
The event will feature performances by Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Sting. Jimmy Fallon and Brian Williams will also appear.
All money that comes in will be donated to the American Red Cross, which will provide food and shelter to the victims of the massive storm.
Hurricane Sandy ripped through the Northeast Monday night leaving hundreds of thousands without power spanning the East Coast, the worst being in New Jersey and New York.
To donate people should go to www.redcross.org or call 1-800-RED-CROSS. Or to make a quick $10 donation you can text REDCROSS to 90999.
