Since Octomom Nadya Suleman entered rehab on October 23, much speculation has surrounded the mom’s decision to admit herself. Furthermore, reports earlier this week suggested Suleman was the subject of an intervention by Hollywood dad Michael Lohan. But the mom of 14 is finally speaking the truth and denies claims of involvement with Lohan.
Suleman told E! News on Thursday, “I chose to seek treatment after consulting with my manager regarding my recent use of Xanax, which was prescribed by my physician for panic attacks. There were no other people involved with me entering treatment other than my manager and myself.”
According to USA Today, Suleman continued to reveal that she is working on therapy routines with her doctors in order to discover the cause of her attacks, hoping to end the use of medications all together.
“I am paying for my own treatment,” Suleman confirmed. “I am finding my voice here.”
Octomom came under fire in recent months for allegedly abusing her children, something that ex-nannies for the family came forward to verify. No charges were filed against the mom, after a D.A. rejected the case.
