Donald Trump failed to win the public over with his support for GOP hopeful Mitt Romney, and now he is facing his own firing as a petition has circulated online demanding that Macy’s fire The Donald as one of their celebrity spokespeople.
The petition reads, “Donald Trump does not reflect the 'magic of Macy's.' We urge you to sever ties with him. Macy's says it has a strong obligation to be 'socially responsible' and that 'actions speak louder than words.' Indeed. It's time to act.”
Additionally, the petition points out Trump's hypocritical behavior, saying the billionaire "hypocritically complained about jobs being shipped overseas to China, despite the fact that almost his entire clothing line sold at Macy's is made in China."
This year, The Celebrity Apprentice star has behaved outlandishly from his denying of a fix in the Pageant, claiming that the woman alleging the results were staged was “ugly,” and that was the reasoning behind her allegations. Also, Trump engaged in a much talked-about Twitter rant about revolting against the government when President Obama won his second term. Trump has long determined that Obama forged his birth certificate and believes Obama was not truly born in the United States.
Thus far, a commercial has already been released poking fun at Trump. The ad features Trump pulling down Santa’s beard “to see if it’s really him.” The 1947 Miracle on 34th Street replica says back to Trump, “If I can win you over, there's still hope."
According to E!, petition signers were not impressed by the commercial.
