Ratings were down across the board for the networks Tuesday night. There were some bright spots, although they were few and far between.
CBS came out on top with viewers thanks to NCIS, averaging 14.3 million viewers, notes The Hollywood Reporter. The network fell behind NBC in the rating though, averaging a 2.5 18-49 rating. NCIS was the most-watched show of the night, drawing 16.9 million viewers and a 3.0 18-49 rating. NCIS: LA had 15.7 million viewers and a 2.8 18-49 rating, while Vegas hit a series low 1.6 18-49 rating with 10.4 million viewers.
NBC came in second with 7.1 million viewers, but had a 2.6 18-49 rating, topping CBS. The Voice fell 17 percent from its last Tuesday episode, drawing a 3.8 18-49 rating, reports Deadline. The show had 11 million viewers. Go On slid to 6.3 million viewers and a 2.3 18-49 rating, while The New Normal was up to 4.8 million and a 1.8 18-49 rating. Parenthood dropped to 4.7 million viewers and a 1.8 18-49 rating, although it did win the 10pm hour.
ABC finished third with 6.5 million viewers, but had just a 1.4 18-49 rating. Dancing with the Stars had 11.9 million viewers and a 1.9 18-49 rating, a 6 percent jump. Happy Endings’ 1.4 18-49 rating and 4.8 million viewers were about the same as last week, while Don’t Trust The B---- In Apt. 23 dropped to just 3.2 million viewers and a 1.1 rating. Private Practice slid to an all-time low, drawing just 3.7 million viewers and a 1.1 18-49 rating, notes EW.
Fox had just 3.5 million viewers and a 1.7 18-49 rating for its sitcom block. Raising Hope had 3.8 million viewers and a 1.6 18-49 rating. Ben & Kate took a 21 percent dive, with just 2.5 million viewers and a 1.1 key demo rating. New Girl slip to 4.3 million and a 2.2 18-49 rating, while The Mindy Project was actually up to 3.2 million and a 1.7 rating.
Over at The CW, Hart of Dixie had 1.7 million viewers and a 0.7 18-49 rating. Emily Owens, MD had 1.4 million viewers and a 0.4 18-49 rating. That show is still waiting for a full season pick-up.
