Rihanna appeared on a live Facebook chat on Thursday night, after the premiere of her music video for “Diamonds,” where she talked with Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen about Chris Brown, Madonna and Beyonce.
Rihanna was asked by her fans about her duet with Brown, called “Nobodies Business,” her inspiration and where she got the title of her album Unapologetic.
Idolator reports the interview lasted about 25 minutes.
When asked if she’s back together with Brown, Rihanna said “no,” and she also described their new song.
“‘Nobody’s Business’ is basically the way I look at everything regarding my personal life,” Rihanna told Cohen, Rap-Up reports. “Even though you have to witness it, it’s being documented at every second, it still is mine. This is mine at this point. When it gets to my music and stuff like that, I’ll give and I’ll give and I’ll give, and I just feel like I need to keep a little bit for me that I get to the side.”
She continued that Madonna is one of her biggest inspirations, saying “Madonna is one of those artists that she was very self-expressive. She was bold, she was fearless. All those are things that I looked up to as a young woman. I wanted to be all those things.”
Among the other questions she was asked, Rihnna said in 30 years “I wanna be skinny, I wanna be fierce… I hope my tits are still sitting up.”
She also called Beyonce “Gorgeous, a stab to my self-esteem,” and said she got her album name because “It’s very true. It’s raw. It’s honest. It’s storytelling, even the way it flows on the album. It takes you on a journey.”
