The Rolling Stones have announced that Mary J. Blige and Jeff Beck will join them for their show on Sunday night in London.
They will join the iconic band for their 50th anniversary tour, which kicks off tonight.
On their website, the band writes “The Rolling Stones are pleased to announce legendary R&B singer songwriter Mary J Blige, and trailblazing rock guitarist Jeff Beck will be joining the band on stage at their spectacular show at London’s O2 Arena tomorrow night.”
They add, “They join former Rolling Stones, bassist Bill Wyman and guitarist Mick Taylor, as special guests on the Rolling Stones’ first arena concert in over six years.”
Rolling Stone reports that the band will perform for over two hours and they won’t have any supporting acts for the tour.
After this week’s London shows at the O2 Arena, they head to the U.S to perform at the newly-opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn and the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.
