Scarlett Johansson reads the weather for laryngitis-ridden Al Roker on 'Today' (Video)

By Gina DiFalco,

Scarlett Johansson took over Al Roker’s job and read the weather forecast on the Today Show this morning.

The Hitchcock star stepped in for Roker when his voice proved to be too hoarse due to laryngitis on the morning talk show.

"Miss, do you have any experience?” anchor Matt Lauer asked her, USA Today reports.

"I have a lot of experience with weather. Yes," she joked before saying it was a "dream come true."

Roker was still on hand for the reading, acting as Johansson’s personal umbrella holder while she delivered the weather.

The Huffington Post reports that Johansson, previously married to Ryan Reynolds (who is now married to Gossip Girl star Blake Lively) got really into it by the end, citing the classic weatherman line "Here's what's happening in your neck of the woods."

But Johansson wasn’t the only guest to step in and help Roker while he was battling the illness. American Idol winner Phillip Phillips, comedian Finesse Mitchell and motivational speaker Tony Robbins also jumped in to assist Roker in reading the weather.
